Through funds donated\, time given\, or awareness raised\, our communities are teaming up - virtually or in person - to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer\, we can accomplish anything.\n\n\n\nAt Relay For Life you'll find community members taking turns walking around a track lined with luminaria bags. You'll have the opportunity to cheer for local survivors (or participate as a survivor) in our first lap of the day. Caregivers of cancer patients (currently or previously diagnosed) will then be invited to join the Survivors. Local entertainers will keep you energized. As it gets dark\, we will light the luminaria bags surrounding the track in a memorable luminaria ceremony. There will be opportunities to fundraise & fight back!\n\n\n\nEach participant that raises $100 will receive the Hope Club T-shirt.\n\n Team Captains recruit members set fundraising goals and organize fundraising activities.\n Participants raise donations through anything from bake sales to social media posts.\n Survivors can join an existing team and use their inspiring story to raise funds.\n Opening Ceremony welcomes everyone to Relay.\n Survivors take the first celebratory lap\, and then caregivers take their turn for recognition.\n Teammates take turns walking the track symbolizing the ongoing fight against cancer.\n At dark\, Luminaria bags are lit in honor of a life touched by cancer and line the track walk\n Closing ceremony recognizes the community's hard work\, and our fight will keep going until the world is free from cancer!
