DESCRIPTION:ARTRONIKA PRESENTS - VENICE HOLI CELEBRATION\n\n\n\nJoin us for an afternoon showcasing South Asian Culture in beautiful Venice! On Sunday\, March 12 (1-5pm) we will be celebrating the popular South Asian holiday\, HOLI\, which traditionally welcomes in the beginning of Spring. \n\nThis family-friendly free community event in Penmar Park encourages public participation as we toss beautiful HOLI colors in the air. Our team of volunteers from the Master of Arts in Yoga Studies Program at Loyola Marymount University will show guests how to play with safe\, 100% non-toxic HOLI powder - it's super easy and lots of fun (washes away easily with water). We encourage that you come dressed in white so that colors can shine more brightly on your clothing!\n\nThe Venice HOLI Celebration features live South Asian musicians\, dancers\, and artists performing throughout the day.\n\nWe are also very excited to have Bombay Beach Restaurant provide us with delicious Indian food :)\n\nPenmar Park is located at 1341 Lake St\, 90291 with street parking available in the neighborhood.\n\nCome have some fun with us on March 12!!!\n\nThis event is made possible through a grant from the Public Space Activation (PSA) Fund provided by LA's Department of Cultural Affairs. The HOLI Celebration is being co-produced by City of LA Department of Recreation & Parks and ARTRONIKA.\n\nHave questions?
