DESCRIPTION:Open Temple's Electric Camp:\n\nA Space for Creative Freedoms\n\nThis Summer\, Open Temple and Electric Lodge launch the Electric Camp for kids ages 6 to 16. Our Year One program (summer\, winter and spring camps) focuses on Theater\, Music\, Dance\, Art and Social/Emotional Wellness. \n\nThrough the past two years\, our youngest citizens have proven resilient and adaptive to the demands of the pandemic. Our theater camp invites our campers to discover their inner artist and voice of self-expression.\n\nIn 2 one-week sessions\, campers will perform\, write\, move and express what the past two years have meant to them. With professionals as their guide\, our program is rooted in the Jewish values of Creativity\, Community and Compassion and is open to people of all faiths and walks of life. Every day invites students into a different middah (character trait) for them to reflect upon how they grew over the past two years\, and how they will take their experiences forward. Through the power of theater and expression\, campers will present a mini production in each session\, focusing on creating original works written by the campers. Campers may participate in either one or both sessions.\n\nLocated at Electric Lodge and Open Temple House\, campers will enjoy the facilities' dance studio\, theater\, classroom\, atelier and outdoor spaces.\n\nSession 1: July 18   July 22\n\nSession 2: July 25   July 29\n\n9am   3pm\, after care available\n\nIn these sessions\, campers will develop and perform their own unique piece of theater\, drawn from their lives and the world around them.\n\nCampers entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade\n\nCounselors in Training Program for High Schoolers\n\nRegistration:\n\nPlease fill out this form to register. Each week is $400 per camper. \n\nPlease note: Camp is limited to 18 children.
