Join us as we officially launch SPARC'S LA Marathon 5K Charity Partner program with a free 5K run/walk training session.\n\nWhether you are a seasoned runner\, a casual jogger\, or a winged walker\, this kickoff event is all about coming together\, getting moving\, and making a difference. We'll be hitting the pavement for a casual 5K (3.1 miles) route starting right from SPARC headquarters. It's the perfect opportunity to meet new people\, get some fresh air\, and learn how you can join Team SPARC for the official LA Marathon 5K on March 6\, 2027.\n\n5K Run/Walk Details\n\nWhen:\n\nSaturday\, August 29th\, 2026\n\n9:45 am: meet up/mingle\n\n10am: Hit the road for a beautiful 5K route through the neighborhood\n\nWhere:\n\nStart at SPARC Headquarters (685 Venice Blvd\, Venice\, CA)\n\nWhat:\n\nA casual 5K walk/run\, followed by info on how to join our charity team!\n\nWho:\n\nEveryone! All fitness levels\, paces\, strollers\, and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.\n\nWhy Join Team SPARC at the 2027 LA Marathon 5K?\n\nBy committing to walk or run the LA Marathon 5K with us next March\, you aren't just crossing a finish line you're helping fundraise for SPARC's vital community programs.
