Be a Citizen Scientist and help us gather ocean data from our water testing kits. Observe grains of sand and seawater samples under our microscopes. Read ocean-inspired poetry\, draw\, and learn about the sea life just beneath the pier. We have new enlightening programs every week.\n\nThe pier juts 1000 feet out over the open sea\, with saltwater breezes and spectacular coastline views! Besides our marine specimens\, you'll see migratory birds perched on the pilings\, dolphins\, interesting catches reeled in\, and local surfer species. \n\n\n\nCurrently\, we're looking for volunteers that can help on Sundays:\n\n\n\n10:30 - 11:30 am: For set up\n\n2:30 - 3:30 pm: For tear down\n\n\n\n10:30am - 3:30pm: You will help set up/tear down and receive a docent orientation\, which will be done over 4 Sundays.\n\n\n\nDon't have a marine biology degree? Most of us don't!\n\nAll you need is a love for the ocean and curiosity!
