Eaze Social Equity Partners Program has expanded into the Los Angeles market
Today, Eaze formally launched our Social Equity Partners program, and massively expanded the social equity brands on our platform into the Los Angeles market, allowing Eaze customers to support even more equity licensees directly with their dollars.
Since Eaze launched its social equity menu in the Bay Area market, social equity brands have been well received by consumers with high and consistent demand. To date, social equity brands have sold nearly $1 million of products on the Eaze platform.
Secondly, in a first move for the cannabis industry, Eaze’s multi-point Social Equity Partners program provides brands with wraparound financial and operational support, by making them eligible for benefits that include:
- Preferred financing and payment structuring
- Discounted access to Eaze Partner Portal data
- Incorporation into the Eaze supply chain
- Marketing and public relations support
Eaze has made it a mission to right some of the wrongs from the War on Drugs by providing economic sustainability and opportunity for minority cannabis operators.
This is the next phase of our social equity work. Last year, Eaze launched Momentum — a business accelerator to cultivate the growth and success of underrepresented cannabis business founders. Eaze’s social impact work also includes a partnership with Code for America to help clear 250,000 low-level criminal offenses; a permanent 25% discount for U.S. veterans; partnerships with Success Centers SF and the San Francisco AIDS project; and a $25,000 contribution to the NAACP, among others.
