Today FeedCulver announced that they have received a $10K grant from SoCalGas to help fight hunger and support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. SoCalGas’ donation will provide 800 meals and help bring business to family-owned restaurants whose sales have been reduced due to COVID-19 restaurant guidelines.

FeedCulver is a grassroots initiative formed in response to COVID-19 in partnership with the Exchange Club of Culver City Charitable Foundation, Culver City Chamber of Commerce, the City of Culver City, and the Downtown Business Association. Since its launch in April, the program has grown from serving approximately 70 meals to 180 meals daily. To date, the program has served more than 10,000 meals with the help of volunteers and community partners.

The program, which was initially scheduled to run through July, hopes to continue its efforts through the end of the year with the support of volunteers, local government, and corporate donations like this one from SoCalGas.

We invite you to learn more about FeedCulver and to make a contribution to the program by visiting feedculver.org.
