Venice’s Newest Pizza Spot Serves Fresh Flavor with Style
VENICE – If you’ve been around Venice’s iconic Windward Circle recently, you’ve probably seen a bubblegum-pink takeout window – Pizza Girl’s inaugural brick-and-mortar at the Hotel Erwin.
Although it exclusively sold sauces upon its creation in 2018, founder Caroline D’Amore has grown it into a three-pronged company: supermarket (selling their signature sauces), online (anything pizza-related for home cooks), and their new brick-and-mortar (fresh, handmade pizzas). D’Amore not only emblematizes the brand – her hair is as pink as the logo – but she is the Pizza Girl through and through.
