About Us

Beethoven Street Elementary School is a neighborhood school in the lovely Mar Vista area. We at Beethoven strive to serve our community and new members who join our school. We are excited to share with you some of the unique features and program Beethoven school has to offer you and your children. Beethoven Elementary School is a California Distinguished School and was called, ''the best of the best'' by Jack O'Connell the former State Superintendent. Beethoven is a much-desired small school, with an enrollment of approximately 350 students in grades TK through 5th grade. Our school population represents a rich diversity of ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds similar to our wonderful city of Los Angeles and local communities such as Venice. Our campus is honored to have brilliant and high experienced staff, enthusiastic and supportive parents, and wonderful children. At Beethoven Elementary, students receive an excellent academic education, extensive enrichment programs in technology (coding), art (visual and music) and both physical and personal development.
