Marina Del Rey Historical Society – Open House and Volunteer Drive
“History Preserved – History Remembered”
Something of historical value occurs everyday in Marina del Rey. Maybe a personal accomplishment or a change in the local landscape and for the Marina del Rey Historical Society we are here to make sure that the history is preserved and remembered for all generations, now and for the future.
The Marina del Rey Historical Society had been on a 15-month hiatus during the shutdown of 2020 and part of 2021. With many thanks to our small group of dedicated members, we reopened our gallery at Fisherman’s Village in July to allow local and out of town guests to safely visit and explore the history of Marina del Rey with an informative and educational experience.
This September, the Marina del Rey Historical Society will be holding an Open House and Volunteer Drive in celebration of our 14th year as a part of the Marina del Rey community. If you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise, and a desire to help us achieve our goal to expand our knowledge and vision in service to the Marina del Rey community, please visit our gallery at your convenience this September, and check out our website anytime here: https://www.marinadelreyhistoricalsociety.org/
