On December 6th, the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media will host its annual Global Symposium on Gender in Media at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA and present the findings from its 2023 See Jane TV Report. The event will bring together decision makers and creators from around the world invested in driving diversity, equity and inclusion in media and entertainment, to engage with the Institute’s new proprietary research findings and to share recommendations to urge systemic change. The 2023 See Jane report analyzes representation in new children’s content as well as popular content (what kids ages 2-11 are watching) from 2018-2022.

Two-time Academy Award winner Geena Davis is one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, appearing in several roles that became cultural landmarks.
Davis is also the Founder and Chair of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.

Madeline Di Nonno
Madeline Di Nonno is the President and CEO of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. Di Nonno leads the Institute’s strategic direction, fundraising, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, research, financial and operational activities.

Meredith Conroy, Ph.D.
Meredith Conroy (she/her) is Vice President of Research and Insights with the Institute. Meredith earned her PhD in political science from University of California, Santa Barbara, and is currently an Associate Professor of Political Science at California State University, San Bernardino.
