Singing for Fun: Group Singing Class For Adults

Were you told by your choir teacher or family that you couldn't sing as a kid? 

Do you love to sing and want to get back into it now that you're older and have to do something for yourself? 

Then you should join our Singing for Fun :Group Voice Class for Adults from Venice School of Music. (Note this class is held at the Electric Lodge in Venice, CA to accommodate a larger size!) 

In this group singing class for adults -students will learn: 

• Vocal warm-ups and physical stretches to prime your body for singing
• Group Vocal Exercises to improve endurance, strength and agility
• Harmonies for popular songs such as Abba or Sabrina Carpenter
• Confidence to project your voice through the assistance of a group singing
• Vocal Tips through 5-10 minute Q&A Sessions at the end of each class
• Students will also have the opportunity to practice singing solo if they prefer 

1. Each class begins with warm-ups & exercises.
2. A new song will be introduced each week. Usually pop songs and songs will be learned by listening and utilizing lyrics (no sheet music will be used. )  
3. Students will work in groups/duos or solos on sections of the song as lead singers, harmonies or unison. No solo singing required ever- but encouraged to build confidence and experience vocal freedom. 
4. Q&A Session: Each class will end with a Q&A session to address your questions about singing technique!
