Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program Update - Webinar 6/15
LA City Planning and LA Department of Transportation are pleased to announce upcoming public engagement opportunities for the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program update.
In January, City Planning released an informational video and fact sheet about the proposed updates to the TDM Program. In early June, the draft TDM Ordinance and TDM Program Guidelines will be available for public review on the website, followed by two webinars and other opportunities to learn more and provide feedback. Public hearings are planned for Fall 2021.
We invite you to join us and help spread the word about the webinars. Both webinars will contain the same information about the proposed TDM Program, followed by Q&A. Please register to receive a link for the GoToWebinar event.
The City is looking to expand our regular conversations and engage with more diverse audiences that represent our city’s various transportation needs. Presentations are also planned through the Neighborhood Council Alliance network and for business and advocacy groups. An Open House and a Public Hearing will be held in Fall 2021 in advance of a City Planning Commission hearing.
The proposed TDM Program update would require certain new development projects and substantial building expansions to implement strategies such as supporting transit, telecommuting, walking, carshare, neighborhood shuttles, and other sustainable travel options that reduce vehicle trips.
You can learn more about the TDM Program update and sign up for email updates on our website.
