Building A Pollinator Corridor In Venice

Councilwoman Traci Park shared her excitement about a local sustainability initiative in Venice: the establishment of a pollinator corridor to create a chemical-free network of native plants and trees that will provide habitat and nutrients for birds, bees, butterflies, and other local wildlife. She highlighted how the corridor will not only beautify Venice and enhance biodiversity but also stretch from the beach through several Venice neighborhoods, bringing the community together. She expressed gratitude to the Venice BID, Verdant Venice, and the CD11 Foundation for their help and support in bringing this project to life.
