Lace Up for SPARC's LA Marathon 5K - August Training Session

SPARC (The Social and Public Art Resource Center) is celebrating its 50th birthday by getting active! Join us as we officially launch SPARC’S LA Marathon 5K Charity Partner program with a free 5K run/walk training session.

Whether you are a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a winged walker, this kickoff event is all about coming together, getting moving, and making a difference. We’ll be hitting the pavement for a casual 5K (3.1 miles) route starting right from SPARC headquarters. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, get some fresh air, and learn how you can join Team SPARC for the official LA Marathon 5K on March 6, 2027.

5K Run/Walk Details

When:
Saturday, August 29th, 2026
9:45 am: meet up/mingle
10am: Hit the road for a beautiful 5K route through the neighborhood

Where:
Start at SPARC Headquarters (685 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA)

What:
A casual 5K walk/run, followed by info on how to join our charity team!

Who:
Everyone! All fitness levels, paces, strollers, and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
