SoCalGas Webinar: Greener Kitchens - To-Go Packaging, Reusable Regulations & the Future of Disposables
Single-use foodservice packaging is one of the most challenging sustainability issues facing restaurants, their customers, and the municipalities that must deal with packaging waste. Local laws restricting the use of single-use plastics and mandating reusable packing will change the way many restaurants operate. New systems for safely handling and sanitizing reusable wares will need to be integrated in both new and existing restaurants with potential energy impacts on both water and energy use. This webinar will share the latest guidelines on disposable and reusable To-Go packaging from municipalities as well as the potential capital costs and utility impacts on restaurants.
