Mile High Homework Club: Sponsorship

Hello Venice Chamber of Commerce.  I am trying to put together a homework club called the Miles High Homework Club. Looking for teachers, retired teachers, coaches, university students, engineers, and professionals.  (background check to be conducted) Please see the attachments.  For January 2026.

Program Overview

Before the Transition, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through mentorship, academic support, and career exploration.

Our newest initiative, the Mile High Homework Club, provides free tutoring, mentorship, and enrichment to students in Riverside County, California. We aim to close opportunity gaps and build confidence in students through consistent academic support of math, reading, writing, and coding in STEM.

Jacket of Excellence Program (hopefully in the future/looking for sponsorship)

As part of the Homework Club, we’re launching the Jacket of Excellence Program — a recognition initiative that rewards students who maintain Honor Roll status for a full academic year with custom jackets. These jackets symbolize achievement, pride, and perseverance.
