Venice Beach Business Improvement District continues to create and advocate for a Clean & Safe Veni
The Venice Beach Business Improvement District (BID), in collaboration with partners Verdant
Venice Group, the CD11 Foundation, and Councilwoman Traci Park’s Office, planted 19 new trees this past quarter along Hampton Drive, 3rd Avenue, and Sunset Avenue. Supported by local neighbors and UCLA volunteers, this initiative extends the Pollinator and Resilience Corridor, connecting previous project phases to create a continuous pollinator habitat that supports essential species and enhances the neighborhood’s ecological resilience. These new plantings expand Venice’s urban canopy, strengthen habitat connectivity for bees, birds, and butterflies, and advance the BID’s ongoing goal of fostering durable, accessible green spaces throughout the community.
